Receive seasonal fresh vegetables grown here in the market garden at the foot of the Quantock hills. The veg club is set up as a Community Supported Agriculture scheme (CSA) and runs for 20 weeks from June through to October with a 1-week break in the middle to let you clear out your fridges and for us to check in with pushed-back jobs in the garden.

Each week is made up of different seasonal fresh vegetables. We offer two membership sizes.

Medium £14.50 per wk (5-6 items) Perfect for one person or a couple who cook 5-6 times a week.

Large £22.50 per wk (9-11 items) Perfect for a family who cook 5-6 nights a week or a couple who eat a plant-based diet.

We also offer delivery.

Price and payments
We have two payment options:

  1. Upfront: Members can choose to pay the full 20 weeks upfront. This allows us to secure finances to employ a team, invest in things like seeds, buy compost and invest in future farm infrastructure.

  2. Every 4 weeks from June: We understand payment in full doesn’t work for everyone so we also offer payment every 4 weeks once the scheme is running from June. We only ask for the first 4 weeks paid upfront as a form of deposit for your membership.

Sign-up is for the full 20 weeks, this allows us to plan exactly what we need to grow. Once we have our online shop up and running veg club members will also be able to add things such as eggs to their veg delivery.

We understand the veg club isn’t for everyone and will also be offering products through an online shop and farm stand in West Bagborough. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when our online shop goes live.

  • We’re an agroecological market garden. We strive to grow beyond organic principles, using regenerative farming techniques such as cover cropping, compost teas, no dig, mulching, interplanting, diversity and perennial interplanting to build ecological complexity and soil health.

These practices provide the basis for healthy soil, healthy plants and nutritiously dense food.

Transparency lies at the heart of what we do, we run a number of opens days if you would like a tour of our growing system.

We aim to grow all the vegetables for your membership but occasionally we may choose to buy produce from other local like-minded agroecological farms, we will be very clear where this comes from and how it was grown if we do this.

  • The Veg Club is set up as a Community Supported Agriculture Scheme (CSA), an approach to build a strong partnership between us the grower and you the consumer.

Signing up is for the full 20 weeks, which allows you to take control and ownership of your food system and for us as the grower to receive a stable and secure income.

Leading to a healthy, transparent and connected food system.
